Welcome to Around the Route. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of aroundtheroute.com (the “Site”) and the content, features, services, memberships, community areas, and other offerings made available by Around the Route (“Around the Route,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

Certain features, services, memberships, promotions, or other offerings may be subject to additional terms or rules. If additional terms apply, they will be presented in connection with the applicable offering.

1. ELIGIBILITY AND USE OF THE SITE

You may use the Site only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

Certain features or services may have age, geographic, account, membership, or other eligibility requirements. Where applicable, those requirements will be disclosed in connection with the relevant feature or service.

attempts to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, networks, or data;
introduces viruses, malicious code, or other harmful technologies;

4. AROUND THE ROUTE CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and original materials made available by Around the Route—including articles, analysis, commentary, graphics, branding, logos, page designs, podcasts, videos, audio, databases, compilations, and other original content—are owned by or licensed to Around the Route and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, Around the Route grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Site content for lawful personal and non-commercial purposes.

Except as permitted by applicable law or with our prior written permission, you may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, commercially exploit, or systematically extract substantial portions of Around the Route's original content.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Around the Route intellectual property to you.

5. INDEPENDENT EDITORIAL STATUS AND THIRD-PARTY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Around the Route is an independent media and editorial platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Around the Route is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with CBS, Paramount, The Amazing Race, its producers, distributors, networks, contestants, or other rights holders discussed or referenced through the Site.

Names, trademarks, logos, program titles, images, video, audio, and other intellectual property belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

Around the Route may discuss, report on, review, analyze, criticize, or otherwise reference television programs, participants, events, companies, products, and other subjects for editorial, news, commentary, criticism, educational, or related purposes.

Any use of third-party materials is intended to respect applicable intellectual property law. No ownership of third-party intellectual property is claimed merely because it is referenced or discussed on the Site.

6. EDITORIAL CONTENT, OPINIONS, AND INFORMATION

Around the Route publishes news, analysis, commentary, predictions, rankings, interviews, historical material, entertainment coverage, and other editorial content.

Editorial content may include opinions, interpretations, predictions, estimates, speculation, or analysis based on information available at the time of publication. Such material should not be interpreted as a guarantee of future events or outcomes.

Although we may attempt to provide accurate and useful information, Around the Route does not warrant that all Site content will always be complete, current, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

7. USER CONTENT AND COMMUNITY FEATURES

You retain ownership of rights you hold in your User Content. You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit your User Content and that your submission does not violate applicable law or the rights of another person.

You should not submit confidential information through public community features.

We reserve the right, but do not assume an obligation, to review, moderate, restrict, remove, or refuse User Content when we reasonably believe doing so is appropriate to enforce these Terms, protect users, maintain community standards, comply with law, or protect the Site and its services.

We may restrict or terminate access to community features for repeated or serious violations of applicable rules.

Around the Route respects intellectual property rights.

If you believe material available through the Site infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us with sufficient information to identify the material and explain the basis of your concern.

Where applicable, Around the Route will respond to valid notices in accordance with applicable law.

The Site may contain links to, integrations with, or embedded content from third-party websites, social networks, video platforms, podcast services, advertisers, sponsors, merchants, and other services.

Around the Route does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, content, policies, products, services, security, or practices.

Where a subscription automatically renews, applicable renewal and cancellation information will be presented as required by applicable law.

Around the Route may occasionally offer promotions, contests, sweepstakes, giveaways, or similar programs.

Such programs may be subject to separate official rules, eligibility requirements, entry periods, geographic restrictions, and other conditions. If separate rules conflict with these Terms concerning a particular promotion, the promotion-specific rules will govern that promotion.

No purchase will be required where prohibited by applicable law.

14. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES TO THE SITE

Around the Route may modify, update, suspend, discontinue, or change portions of the Site or its features from time to time.

We do not guarantee that every feature, article, membership benefit, community service, podcast, video, or other offering will remain available indefinitely.

Site access may occasionally be interrupted because of maintenance, technical problems, security issues, third-party service interruptions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

15. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT, FEATURES, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ALL CONTENT WILL BE COMPLETE OR ACCURATE.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AROUND THE ROUTE AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRIBUTORS, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE SITE.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED.

THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION APPLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

17. INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Around the Route and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Site, your material violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your infringement of another person's rights.

This provision does not require indemnification to the extent prohibited by applicable law.

18. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

Around the Route may suspend or terminate access to an account, membership, community feature, or other Site service when we reasonably determine that a user has materially or repeatedly violated these Terms, applicable community rules, or applicable law, or when action is reasonably necessary to protect the Site, Around the Route, its users, or others.

You may stop using the Site at any time. Account or membership cancellation procedures, where applicable, will be made available through the relevant service or account controls.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective following termination, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute-related provisions.

19. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and disputes relating to them will be governed by applicable law, without limiting any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.

Any additional governing-law, venue, or dispute-resolution provisions applicable to particular paid services may be provided with those services.

20. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, our services, business practices, or applicable legal requirements.

When we update these Terms, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Where required by applicable law, we may provide additional notice of material changes.

Your continued use of the Site following the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the extent necessary to make it enforceable where permitted, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms or rules that expressly apply to particular Site features or services, constitute the agreement between you and Around the Route concerning your use of those features and services, except where another written agreement expressly provides otherwise.
